
The Records Unit catalogues incident arrest and crash reports, handles non-emergency call taking, overnight parking permission, data entry and research for departmental studies. It also collects fees for permits and reports.
The Unit is staffed 24/7, although access to the building is restricted after hours for security reasons. A fee schedule for receiving reports is posted in the 3rd floor lobby of the Public Safety Building and permits are processed through this office.
Mt. Lebanon Police Fee Schedule:
- Accident report (state fee): $15
- Amusement Device License fees: $300 (up to 6 +$100 for each additional)
- Animal fines – No License warning fee: $20
- Animal fines – Animal in prohibited area: $20
- Animal fines – Running at Large warning fee: $20
- CAD calls: $15
- Crash/ DUI photos & video: $50 per CD or video, $5 per printed photo
- Dumpster Placement (municipal roadway): $100
- False Alarm – 1st to 5th: $0
- False Alarm – 6th to 10th: $75
- False Alarm – 11th to 15th: $150
- False Alarm – 16th to 20th: $200
- False Alarm – 21st to 25th: $275
- Fingerprinting (non-criminal) – Residents: $20 for first card, $5 each additional card
- Fingerprinting (non-criminal) – Non-Residents: $25 per card
- Good conduct (background/ record check): $25
- Incident Reports: $15; if in excess of five pages, $0.25 per page
- Mobile Data Terminal Administration – Allegheny County: $20/ unit/ month
- Mobile Data Terminal Administration – Out-of-County: $25/ unit/ month
- Overnight Parking Permit: $120 per 6 months
- Storage fee for seized vehicles: $10 per day
- Vendors permits and invoice fees (solicitors permits): $100 base fee for solicitation permit (up to 5 solicitors). $20 per additional solicitor in excess of 5. Add $10 fee per solicitor to cover cost of PATCH (criminal history) check.
